Effects of biochar amendment and organic fertilizer on microbial communities in the rhizosphere soil of wheat in Yellow River Delta saline-alkaline soil

The biochar and organic fertilizer amendment have been used as an effective practice to increase soil fertility. Nevertheless, the mechanisms of microbial community response application on saline-alkali not clarified. This study investigated effects at different concentrations wheat rhizosphere under field experiment in Yellow River Delta (China, YRD), using high-throughput sequencing technology. Biochar significantly influenced most parameters ( p < 0.05), apart from moisture content (M), pH, total nitrogen (TN) phosphorus (TP). Proteobacteria Actinobacteriota were found main bacterial phyla, fungal phyla Ascomycota Mortierellomycota. communities distinct CK. Furthermore, redundancy analysis (RDA) directed that changes related properties like available (AP), carbon (TOC), while AP TP, crucial contributors regulating distribution. correlation between bacteria or fungi varied with fertilizers, interaction treatments formed more connections compared treatments. Our results indicated was superior contents set up this study, increased rate. diversity structure differed fertilizer. research provides a reference rational improvement soil.
